This Association will be like SITEB in Italia http://www.siteb.it/ or AEA in europa http://aea.egv.emaa.online.fr/ and we will partnair of this two important professionnal organisation to promove the fields in asphalt and road construction.

FONDATION OF « ARBA » ASSOCIATION

Following a lot of consultations, between different professionals from several Balkan countries, as well as from other European countries - France, Italy and Germany - on 16-th of december 2005, a meeting took place in Tirana, which made possible to accomplish the will expressed by all people concerned to unite their efforts in a Balkan association framework. The scope of such a meeting was to establish a Balkan association dedicated to the road transport infrastructure domain, namely the asphalted roads network, linking Balkan countries among them, as well as with the other part of main European roads. The meeting had also to consider and approve two fundamental documents (see jointly): the Platform and the Statutes of the association. The drafts of such documents have been previously consulted by all interested people.

After the approval of these two fundamental documents, the participants elected the President, the Vice-President, the Treasurer and the Secretary of the Association:

- Maqo Lakrori ( Albania) – President
- Orhan Avdoviç (Macedonia) – Vice-President
- Patrick Pascal (France) – Treasurer
- Svetlana Roko ( Albania) – Secretary

The meeting was assisted and observed by EU representatives, accredited in Albania. It took place in the offices of Studio Legale “Tonucci”. The lawyer, Mr. Artur Asllani, was also present.
